Before you buy any Moped or a Scooter there are some very important things you need to know!

• Most Gas Powered Mopeds ONLY burn Premium High Octane Fuels.
   

• KNOW the laws of your State or Country BEFORE you buy any Moped or Scooter.
   

• Make sure that your scooter is delivered using a Lift Gate.
   

• Scooters purchased online for home delivery do not come completely assembled.  Ask how much assembly will be required and whether the front wheel will be assembled on the bike or not.
   

• Make sure your moped or scooter comes with detailed assembly instructions.
   

• Ask yourself if you REALLY do have the mechanical skills to do the assembly yourself.
   

• Scooters are often delivered in the manufacturers shipping carton which is not designed for frequent loading and unloading.  There is a risk of damage to the bike in transit.  Ask the seller what kind of shipping crate will be used.
   

• Insist on shipping INSURANCE on the full value of the scooter or moped that is being delivered.
   

• Find out where you will be able to get replacement parts for the scooter or moped in the event of accidents or mechanical failures in the future.
   

• Talk to whoever you are going to buy a motor scooter from BEFORE you buy.  Ask questions about what you have learned here and listen to their responses.  Are they giving you good answers?
